Bless Them Each Moment ( A Family that Prays…Series)

family that prays

Today we continue our series by once again focusing on praying for husbands.

Some of the husbands in our lives have what I consider the TOP 5 most important things. I’ll cut to the chase and go straight to Top 1 which is having God in their lives!

Top 5: a job, whether they like them or not

Top 4: a place to call home; renting, staying by family or actually owning their own homes

Top 3: family that loves them

Top 2:  life, whether they are battling medical challenges or are living healthy lives

Today as we pray for husbands, we want to pray for them to have thankful hearts for all of God’s blessings on them.

Sometimes with life’s challenges we tend to forget God’s blessings on us. But we want offer up thanks to God for His blessings upon our husbands and upon the husbands in our lives.

1 Chronicles 16:8-9

Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.

God has been so gracious and we want to pray for these men to look through thankful eyes and with thankful hearts, past all of the challenges and bad things in life and be truly thankful!

Oh what a difference this will make in their lives and in the lives of those around them!

Yes, we need to be lifting our husbands to the Lord. Not only does it make a difference in their lives it also makes us more tenderhearted and loving toward them and draws us nearer the Lord. Thanks for sharing. ~Blessings~
