“I do believe, help my unbelief!”

Have you ever found yourself in the same round of sin over and over again? …And each time that particular sin comes up, you just wonder why this same thing keeps tripping you up over and over again.

Reading Mark 9:14-29, it talks about a boy who was possessed by a demon and unable to be healed from that spirit.

The father told Jesus that they had tried for a while and still nothing happened.

Then Jesus told him, “Everything is possible to the one who has faith” verse 23.

To that the man replied, “I do believe, help my unbelief!”

This story shows us that when we, like that father, have faith in the One who can heal, things that seemed impossible will become possible. Sins that once kept tripping us up over and over again, will be overcome. Defeats, now become victories.

Just believe!

Lord I do believe, help my unbelief!
